When you think of Jamaica the images of Bob Marley, jerk chicken and Rastafarians chilling on the beach usually come up right? but never a castle.
Well there is one in Jamaica and it’s called Trident Castle. Built by famed Jamaican architect Earl Levy in the 1970’s as a private residence for German Baroness Elizabeth Siglindy Stephan von Thyssen , Levy envisioned a castle emerging from the Caribbean Sea in the British colonial style of the 1700’s.
Sitting on seven acres of peninsula, the castle has eight bedrooms and is joined with thirteen private luxury villas on the same property.
If the castle experience is not for you then the villas may be your option, and they are just as wonderful.
The castle and the villas are one of most requested spots to get married and the Trident Hotel specializes in weddings, conferences and private events. The hotel keeps the Jamaican experience alive with local cuisine and unique drinks to try.
Check out the Trident Hotel website to see everything they have to offer.
